Animal attendant volunteers are sought at RSPCA Wangaratta as well as other regional Victorian centres in Portland and Warrnambool.
RSPCA Victoria head of operations Tegan McPherson said the support of volunteers was invaluable to the group's ability to promote and improve animal welfare, with roles available in catteries and kennels.
"Successful candidates will provide day-to-day care for animals, providing enrichment and support to both animals and the team," Ms McPherson said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Animal attendant volunteers need to have a general level of fitness and be comfortable handling dogs, cats and other small animals. Training and support will be provided.
In the last financial year, volunteers contributed more than 248,730 hours of assistance and helped care for about 20,000 animals.
