It's a busy time for Borella Seafood and not just because Easter is around the corner.

The business is set to launch an online ordering system for customers new and old in Wangaratta, Corowa and Yarrawonga.

From May 8 Borella Seafood will offer online options for fresh seafood purchases to customers in those towns.

Owner Jamie Robinson said orders could be placed and paid for on the website on Tuesdays, between 10am and 4pm (the minimum order is $50).

Seafood orders will then be available for collection from Ducky's Butchery Wangaratta, Vodusek Meats Yarrawonga and Corowa Meats. 

"There will be no delivery fee but the butchers need to be paid a $5 handling fee," Mr Robinson said.

"For those not as comfortable with technology they can simply order their seafood on the phone before 4pm on Tuesdays and pick up Wednesday afternoons."

Meanwhile, Mr Robinson said everything was in place to meet customers' Easter needs.

"Weather conditions look good for the fisherman, and our oyster and crayfish suppliers have plentiful supplies," he said.

"Our operating hours for Easter week are Tuesday to Thursday 9am until 8pm. We will be open Good Friday from 9am to 3pm to provide fresh seafood or cook fish and chips for lunch.

"Borella Seafood continues to provide seafood of the highest quality to the Border by personally selecting its seafood from The Melbourne Seafood Centre twice weekly.

"We are able to provide quality at a fair price by dealing directly with oyster suppliers and cray fishermen in Taree, the South Coast and South Australia.

"Our fish and oysters are filleted and shucked daily on the premises to ensure freshness and quality."

Mr Robinson said the business had improved the ambience of its dining area and many loyal customers were choosing the eat-in option in preference to takeaway.

"The dining area has a B.Y.O. option and specialised menus can be organised for smaller and larger groups," he said.

"Our Greek and seafood salads and our cold seafood platters are gaining in popularity for our eat-in customers to complement our fish and chip options."
