The former Magpie will line up for the Tigers in their first year in the AFLW competition.
"I'm really looking forward to it," Ross said.
"They're a new club obviously coming into the league, so it's really exciting and I can't wait to be a part of it.
"The program they've got and the path they're following is something really special and I think it's going to put us in a good spot in the league once the season starts."
The Wodonga Raiders and Murray Bushrangers export was drafted to Collingwood at pick number 13 in 2017 and impressed in defence in her first season with the Magpies.
"I'm still close obviously with all of my teammates and I didn't leave on bad terms," Ross said.
"It will be interesting to play against them all, but once the game is over we'll all be friends again.
"I think the goal will be to stay down back and just keep developing in that role and see where I go from there.
