Those two names are officially the most popular in NSW over the last decade.
Oliver has been the No1 boy's name every year since 2014, while Charlotte has been tops for girls in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018.
"We live in a world that's constantly changing, but when it comes to baby names many parents are playing it safe and sticking with centuries-old favourites," said Attorney-General Mark Speakman.
Despite the popularity of Game of Thrones, Mr Speakman said Daenerys, Arya and Tyrion did not make the top 100 list for 2018.
The top 10 for girls' name in 2018 are: Charlotte, Amelia, Olivia, Mia, Ava, Isla, Grace, Chloe, Harper and Emily.
The most popular boys' names for 2018 are: Oliver, William, Noah, Jack, Henry, Thomas, Lucas, Liam, Leo and Alexander.
