The in-form mare has notched three consecutive victories and will contest the $30,000 Open Handicap, (1500m).
Before resuming in December, Casino Star had previously won two races from 19 starts.
Hanley said his five-year-old mare had matured this preparation.
"She going well and I think the biggest difference is she has matured," Hanley said.
"I thought she had always shown her fair share of potential but was just immature.
"She is a half-sister to Burning Front who won over $1 million in prizemoney."

Casino Star likes to race handy and has drawn perfectly for jockey Jake Duffy in barrier 2.
"She makes her own luck and will be up there amongst them early once again," he said.
"We picked out a race for her in Sydney on Anzac day.
"But being a Showcase meeting at Albury we thought we would stay home."
