Some of Australia's most exciting biathlon prospects are taking part in a North-East camp at the Wodonga Sporting Shooters Association of Australia SSSAA Multi-Purpose range near Wodonga.
Youngsters from Gippsland, Mount Beauty, Albury, Wodonga, Sydney and Canberra are training, including Darcie Morton who has represented Australia in cross country skiing and biathlon.
The camp is being organised by Telemark Nordic Ski Club in conjunction with coach Cameron Morton and 2006 Biathlon Winter Olympian Lynn Maree Cullen.

Three girls attending the camp will be using the program to improve their skills for the National Championships in August.
They will be aiming for Australian selection for the Youth Olympic Games to be held at Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2020.
The Wodonga range is the only place in Australia where junior, senior and disabled athletes can train for biathlon throughout the year.
Events are planned for the range later this year.
