"I've done a few, yes," he said.
Mr Morcombe, 86, has retired from the Rotary Club of Albury after 50 years of membership with the community service organisation.
He notched up the milestone in January, which the club acknowledged with a special presentation of a certificate and clock last month.
Back in 1969, Mr Morcombe was an Apex member when asked to join Rotary "so I jumped at the opportunity".
MORE COMMUNITY NEWS:
Meeting people, listening to the guest speakers and the camaraderie of the group has been enjoyable while serving the community brought satisfaction.
"It's been a big part of my life," he said.
"It suddenly dawned on me that I was never home for tea on a Monday night for 50 years."
Rotary Club of Albury president Mike Burke said Mr Morcombe, a past president and Paul Harris Fellow, had contributed to almost every aspect of the club.
"He's done a lot for Rotary in Albury over the years, given plenty of continuous service," Mr Burke said.
"I just wish him all the best in his retirement and there's always room for him if he wants to come back."
