Liam Nicolson, a member of The Scots School Albury Pipe Band, claimed the C grade aggregate after winning both the marches and MSR sections.
The field included 27 other pipers from around Australia and New Zealand. Liam won a new set of bagpipes among his prizes.

The year 7 student also placed fifth in the bronze medal category for Piobaireachd, a classical music genre associated with the Scottish Highlands.

Liam started piping at the age of three and took part in The Scots School Albury Pipe Band's 2017 tour performing in The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
