The Panthers skipped to a seven-goal break before cruising to a 39-30 win at Lavington Sportsground.

"We started strongly, we knew they would come at us, but we were probably disappointed with our consistency through the rest of the game," coach Tamara Mathews said.

Sarah Senini landed 22 goals from 28 attempts, while Skye Hillier continued her impressive return from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament with 17.

The Panthers' defence was miserly.

"Sarah Meredith was outstanding, not only her rebounding but also her drive down the court was great," Mathews said.

"Heidi Fisher our centre-wing defence, she got some great tips to balls and again was a driver through the midcourt and Skye Hillier played a really strong game."

Shaylah House was the visitors' best with 15 goals.
