For over a decade Barnawartha's Clowes family have been putting on show their restored engines, utes and trucks at the Leneva rally.
And this year was no different.
"We keep coming back each year because it is a nice family weekend with both our kids who help out," Cass Clowes said.
"It is a hobby we do together and it is good to get the engines out of the shed and running again."
Her husband Ash said their hundred-year-old 1919 Ronaldson Brothers and Tippett oil engine "just keeps ticking away".
"I restored that and it sits on the back of a 1948 KC Bedford, 30cwt truck which I didn't restore but we have had for about 15 years now," he said.
"There are so much history here so it is nice to see it all running.
"Plenty of people have turned out which is great to see so many families especially supporting the event."
President Darren Dakos said one of the main talking points from the weekend was the Aveling and Porter Steam Roller from Billson Park in Albury.
"A lot of people have come up and said they played on it as a kid," he said.
"We have actually been quite taken back with the donations from people who would love to see it fully restored, but unfortunately that takes a lot of time and money.
"People want to see it going, but how long it will take, I don't know - it is down to man power and money.
"But if anyone wants to get on board and help the more hands the better, you don't have to have any experience."
Mr Dakos said the turnout over the two days was impressive.
"Plenty of families have been coming here for decades. It is a thing they put on their calendar each year and we are now seeing third generations come through," he said.
"The rally is just a great show and the thing young kids really love is the train.
"And despite having a love for trains and engines they have never seen one before. Their faces are priceless."
