A Melbourne man in his 60s who was the victim of a theft in Rutherglen has had his bike returned to him.

His electric mountain bike 'Trek Powerfly 7' valued at nearly $6500 was taken from outside the Rutherglen Bakery on April 20.
Wodonga detectives recently recovered the bike from an address in Wodonga, where they arrested a 52-year-old man but released him, pending further inquiries.
On Wednesday a 30-year-old Rutherglen man was charged and bailed by Rutherglen police in relation to the matter.
He will face theft charges at the Wodonga Magistrates Court on August 6.
"It was very satisfying for police to be able to return the victim's pride and joy - he was extremely appreciative," Wodonga Detective Senior Constable Justin Foots said.

POLICE are appealing for help to track down a mountain bike stolen from Rutherglen's Main Street in broad daylight.
The red Trek Powerfly 7, worth about $7500, was taken between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday.
The bike had been near Valentine's Bakehouse and the newsagency when it was stolen.
The Melbourne owner, 60, had been in the area with a group of friends and was nearby when the bike was taken.
