Lawrence Norton, originally from Finley, is driving around Australia - at 45km/h - to raise money for the Eli's Gift Foundation, which supports families with sick children.
Since leaving Melbourne a month ago, the Twice As Nice Gallery Cafe has visited Bendigo, Rochester, Moama, Deniliquin, Finley, Tocumwal and Mulwala, raising more than $15,000 so far.
The bus left for Gundagai on Tuesday with plans to travel to Canberra, Eden and Merimbula.

"And then from there I just head north all the way up to Cairns, and then work my way across the top and back down the other side of Australia," Mr Norton said.
The high voltage linesman and diver found his old Leyland vehicle in a quarry near Griffith.
"I was driving through a paddock and I saw a bus and I got what I call the download on what I was going to do," he said yesterday.
"It's taken me 12 years to get all the pieces of the puzzle together to figure out how I can do it and how it will work and what it will look like and, yeah, I've just followed the dream."
With fresh diesel and two new batteries, the bus started first time but water leaked straight out of the radiator.
"So I plugged up the radiator with two permanent markers and a little bit of silicon and left the radiator cap off and managed to drive it back into Griffith," he said.
Restoring the bus took about seven years with 18 months for the final fit-out in Melbourne.
Yet for all his preparations, Mr Norton somehow didn't get around to learning anything about coffee making until last December when a cafe owner - knowing his plan and lack of experience - took it upon herself to train him.
"Really, really important," he agreed.
"But, 'build it and they will come', like, all of the pieces have just come together when they're meant to."
Twice As Nice Gallery Cafe arrived at Great Aussie Holiday Park on Thursday.
"Kids running around everywhere, which has been amazing to see, the family atmosphere here has been phenomenal," he said.
He thanked the park owners for their support, which followed on from similar assistance earlier in his trip.
"So it's really nice to see communities like that working together," he said.
