Two election forums will be held: at Huon Hill Hotel in Wodonga on April 30 with the Indi candidates and Atura Albury on May 8 with the Farrer candidates.
The Indi candidates who have nominated so far have confirmed their attendance at the forum next week, which will be moderated by journalist David Johnston.
Candidates will be given a chance to introduce themselves before facing questions from journalists and the public.
The Border Mail editor Xavier Mardling was looking forward to the forum.
"Indi is shaping as one of the most fascinating seats to watch in the country, let alone Victoria," he said.
"The Orange army has been successful at the past two elections against Sophie Mirabella but can they repeat that success now that Cathy McGowan's gone and Sophie Mirabella's no longer on the scene?
"The Coalition has thrown $10 million at Baranduda Fields but will that be enough to sway people's votes to Steve Martin or Mark Byatt? Or is it simply pork-barreling?
"There are so many questions to ask and I can't wait to see our team of journalists, along with a strong crowd of voters, quiz the candidates."
The Indi event will be held on Tuesday next week from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, with Huon Hill Hotel open beforehand for dinner.
