A MOYHU woman badly injured in a pet deer attack that killed her husband remains in a critical condition more than a week after the incident.

But Mandi McDonald's daughter, Jemma, said she was making progress since last Wednesday's incident.
Jemma said she had heard her mother's voice again, but said she wasn't out of the woods.
The incident killed her husband and the pet deer was put down.
Funeral details for Mr McDonald haven't yet been announced.
About 400 people have supported the charity with donations.
A spokeswoman for The Alfred Hospital said Ms McDonald remained in a critical condition on Thursday.
She has been in the hospital's intensive care unit since being airlifted.
