The Hoppers fell just short eight points of the record margin set in 2017 when it kicked 24.14 (158) to 3.7 (25).
While it was far from a five-star performance from the reigning premier, the home team's experienced heads and talented youngsters highlighted the gulf between the sides.
Former coach Shaun Day was prolific in the midfield, setting the tone early with 10 touches in the first term.
Defender Luke Packer provided his trademark dash from defence, Brock-Burrum recruit Eddy Ziebarth was a livewire across half-forward and Riley Bice looked dangerous every time he went near the ball.
Elliott Powell's pace in attack also caused the North Albury defence endless headaches.
The Hoppers took until the five-minute-mark of the second quarter to kick their first goal when Jackson Weidemann hit the mark from 45-metres.
The margin blew out from 28 points at quarter-time to 62 points at half-time as Tiger coach Peter German's rotations took their toll on the visitors' midfield.
"It was a good win," Packer said.
"You always worry a bit when you only have a five-day turnaround so it was good to come away with the points. It wasn't our best win or a very fluent game but it was pleasing to get a decent result out of it."
North Albury coach Isaac Muller did plenty of work in the midfield while Josh Lloyd took a handful of strong marks across half-forward.
Youngster Tylar Young showed glimpses of talent in attack and Ryan Polkinghorne and David Miles battled gamely against the odds.
Recruit Ned McKeown's precise kicking in defence was another positive for the Hoppers.
Albury star Joel Mackie withdrew from the selected side and was replaced by Ziebarth while Brayden O'Hara is set to miss another fortnight with a quad strain.
It was the Tigers' 11th straight Anzac Day victory over North Albury.
