The North East brewery has an Off The Wagon Wheel brew in the pipeline.
Inspired by the Wagon Wheel, the beer pays respect to the beloved, chocolate and marshmallow snack, using cacao nibs, coconut flakes and raspberry puree.
Bright Brewery head brewer Reid Stratton said the novel beer had been entered in the upcoming Great Australasian Beer Spectacular (GABS).
Mr Stratton said brewers were asked to develop a unique beer each year for the festival.
"GABS has always been a great place for brewers to experiment with flavours," he said.
SAVOUR FLAVOUR:
Bright Brewery's Dave Stokie brought the Wagon Wheel idea to the table.
GABS will run in Brisbane today, Melbourne (Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton) from May 17-19, Sydney on June 1 and Auckland on June 29.
The limited-edition Off The Wagon Wheel will be available from Bright Brewery after the festival.
