Trinity Anglican College is the first group to win the right to bring the iconic stage show to Albury, and it will be one of the first Australian schools to perform it.
Trinity even received a letter from English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber wishing them well.
About 40 students will be involved on stage with 20 working behind the scenes.

Director Glenn Mancer said students began rehearsals in spring.
"It's one of the most iconic musicals of all time and it's great to be able to bring it to Albury," he said.
"Seeing the students grow through the process has been a real highlight."
Phantom of the Opera will run at the Albury Entertainment Centre from May 2-4.
