Now playing for ANU, Ronnfeldt found the back of the net and looked a constant threat in attack as the visitors secured the points.
She matched up against younger sister, Emma, during the contest and secured family bragging rights on her return to the Border.
"It was a weird feeling playing in Albury again and against everyone I've played with for the last four years," Ronnfeldt said.
"I got to spend a few days at home and got ready with the sister and then had to play against her, which was quite funny.
"I was playing on her (Emma) for a little bit at one stage, there was a few niggles out there, but more chatter than anything else.
"I've been looking for that goal for quite a while now, so it was good to get that one against those guys."
Also in sport:
Ronnfeldt has had a smooth transition with her new club since relocating to Canberra this year for university.
"I've known a few of the girls in Canberra for a while and it was quite easy to settle in," she added.
"They've made me feel really welcome and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year."
Ronnfeldt is set to trial for the ACT under-21 team in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the Spitfires men suffered their second defeat of the season, falling 6-1 to a quality Wests side at Canberra's Powell Field.
Tim Smith continued his strong start to the campaign with another goal, but the undermanned Border side was outplayed.
