The Albury-Wodonga Bandits suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence on Saturday night.
The Bandits didn't go down without a fight against the talented young side, outscoring the COE in the third term.
But the visitors proved too strong, running out winners 94-89 at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre.
US import Ken-Jah Bosley showed strength yet again for the Bandits, scoring 40 points and finishing with one assist and seven rebounds.
Fellow import Torren Jones was the next biggest scorer of the night for the Albury-Wodonga team, closing out the game with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
While consistent performer Deba George managed 17 points.
The Bandits solid start to the season leaves them sitting third on the ladder with three wins and one loss.
The Bandits will be looking to get themselves back on the winners list against Ballarat.
