The match was marred by controversy after the scoreboard and both goal umpires had Mitta United winning by two points.
Both time-keepers had the score as a draw.
Tension surrounding the scores threatened to boil over after the final siren, leading to Gray being reported for abusive language.
He will front the tribunal on Tuesday night.

Another talking point after the match was Wodonga Saints had a club umpire officiate the reserves match.
The same umpire then officiated the senior match after being appointed by the AFL North East Umpires board.
League administrator Gavin Rendell said all TDFL matches were officially scored by the time-keepers with the goal umpires used as a back-up.
Wodonga Saints use the old scoreboard at Martin Park and not the electronic scoreboard.
Rendell declined to comment when questioned whether club umpires should be allowed to officiate at senior level at a club that they are associated with.
Mitta United co-coach Phil Packer said the club would not be appealing the final score.
"To my knowledge the club won't be appealing," Packer said.
"The funny thing is the scoreboard in the reserves was wrong too towards the end when it had the Saints up by a goal and they were actually two goals in front.
"Full credit to the Saints, they have improved significantly this season and I have no doubt will win a handful of matches this season.
"We were lucky to get the two points for the draw in the end.
"They are well coached by Gerard Midson, played well and we were poor."
Mitta United face reigning premier Kiewa-Sandy Creek on Saturday, while the Saints host Dederang-Mt Beauty.
