Crabb will speak with Samantha Maiden, Nikka Savva and Sharri Markson on the topic I Do Not Want To See This In Print.
Sydney Writers' Festival artistic director Michaela McGuire said with the federal election looming on May 18, the session was very relevant.
"Two weeks out from an election, it's particularly timely," she said.
During the broadcast audience members can submit their questions via Twitter and SMS to the writers on stage.
Ms McGuire said a record number of 37 regional or rural centres would gain access to the live streaming this year.
"It's our widest reach ever," Ms McGuire said.
"We put so much effort into the program, we want to share it with as many people as possible."
Featured authors include Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah, Meg Wolitzer, Rachel Kushner, David Marr, Max Porter, Andrew Sean Greer and Leigh Sales.
OTHER ENTERTAINMENT NEWS:
Ms McGuire said the festival team would roll out podcasts of some of the sessions after the festival.
"People can join a mailing list on our website (to access the podcasts)," she said.
