The screenings run on May 11, 12 and 15 in 20 Event Cinemas and seven Village Cinemas nationwide.
Verdi's beautiful and bold opera La Forza Del Destino features Superstar singers Jonas Kaufmann and Anna Netrebko playing the ill-fated lovers Don Alvaro and Leonora.
This operatic exploration of tragic passion, revenge and the enduring power of a father's curse contains some of Verdi's most wonderful arias and choruses and is staged in a powerfully cinematic production.

During 2018-19, the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden will exclusively present 10 performances of world-class opera and ballet to cinemas across Australia.
This forms part of the Royal Opera House's celebrations of 10 years of cinema broadcasting in 2018 and of selling more than one million cinema tickets worldwide during the 2017-18 season.
The Royal Opera House has seen huge growth in the influence of independent cinemas, which now account for almost half of its network in Britain.
Its productions are broadcast to up to 1000 cinemas in 50 countries.
Participating Village Cinemas include Rivoli, Knox, Geelong, Karingal, Albury, Eastlands and Launceston.
