The pacy Jones tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the final round game against Myrtleford in 2017.
He missed all last year, but has produced two best on ground performances in his four reserves games.
The 25-year-old isn't nervous about his return.
"No, not really, I've got a bit of confidence in the knee now, I should be right," he said.
Jones was among the league's most improved players when injured.
"Hopefully my best isn't too far away," he said.
Joel Mackie also returns from a back-related issue, while junior Adam Martin will debut after two years at Lavington.
It will also be the Tigers' first game under co-coaches Tom McGrath and Luke Daly after Peter German's departure.
"We're fine mate," he said.
Meanwhile, the Roos welcome back their boom recruit Shane Tregear.
