Murray was unstoppable for the reigning premier before leaving the ground at the 10-minute-mark of the final term with a minor heel injury.
He finished with 15.7.
"Ash had a good day out," Bulldog co-coach Aaron Gordon said.
"He got trodden on in the last quarter so at that stage it probably doesn't worth him pushing through it."
Bullioh played its best football before half-time with Hamish Clark prolific in the midfield and Kelvin Wallace offering Murray outstanding support.
Andrew Healy, Josh Walters and Luke Welsh also had plenty of the ball.
Border-Walwa had triers Ash Greenhill and Myall Hoffmann.
The match started at 1.30pm due to no reserve grade match being played.
Cudgewa defeated Tumbarumba by 201 points at Cudgewa.
Forward Brendan McEvoy led the goalkicking charge with 13 goals while Kylin Morey chipped in with eight.
Dayne Carey and David Low were also effective.
Tumbarumba's Travis Collison and Zane Litchfield battled bravely for the Roos.
In the closest match of the round, Federal thumped rivals Corryong by 102 points.
The Demons were competitive until quarter-time before Steve Bradshaw and Tom McKimmie took control.
