It continues a strong start to the season for the home side, with the win now taking them to four wins and one loss in the NBL1 competition.
Nat Hurst was at her best for the Bandits in the eight point win at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre, finishing with 24 points, three assists and nine rebounds.
"Nat has been incredible this season," coach Lauren Jackson said.
"We got Nat because of her leaderships and because of what she's able to do offensively and defensively.
"She's just showing everyone why she's an Australian point guard.
"When we've been in dire straights, she's been the one to come through and hit a big shot to get the girls in position to get them open."
It was also the first game for new recruit Hanna Zavecz, who has represented Australia, as well as boasting WNBL experience.
Emilee Harman also posted a big performance in the win with 18 points, while the efforts of Molly Rice and Mel Kirby in their minutes on the court didn't go unnoticed.
Emma Mahady was again a solid contributor for the Albury-Wodonga outfit.
While the Bandits came home strong in the clash, Jackson said the side's focus was to now have that same effort spread through all quarters of play.
"Fortunately they showed a lot of character and rallied together in the fourth to step up," Jackson said.
"It's a great thing to see that they're able to get some momentum and push through, especially coming up against some of the teams we've got in the next few weeks.
"We just need to make sure that we're ready to go from the first tip right to the end of the game.
"Everyone did what they needed to do in the fourth quarter to get the win."
After a lengthy stint at home, the Bandits will now be preparing to take to the road for their first double header of the season.
The Bandits will take on the Geelong Supercats in Geelong on Saturday, before travelling to meet the Diamond Valley Eagles.
"We're really going to have to play great basketball to win against them," Jackson said.
"The girls are doing great at the moment and I'm really happy with their improvement.
"When they're clicking, they're clicking on all cylinders, which is great."
