The Swampies swooped on Cloke after hearing the 196-centimetre forward was spending the weekend in the North-East with his father, David.
Cloke has kicked 22 goals in four matches for Essendon District Football League division two club Jacana this season.
"It pretty much came about through a mutual friend," Henty coach Joel Price said.
"He was going to be in the region this weekend and, with us having a few injuries to key position players, it worked out well.
"Cameron's going to give us some height and strength which will be handy with Daniel Leslie and Shannon Terlich out at the moment."
Cloke kicked 36 goals in 58 matches during his AFL career with Collingwood, Carlton and Port Adelaide.
The powerful forward has also played for Bundoora, Craigieburn and Barooga in recent seasons.
Cloke, 34, was at his destructive best in 2017 when he kicked 127 goals in Jacana's premiership campaign.
"It's always good for the young players in the side when a former AFL player comes along," Price said.
"They get a chance to learn from them.
"It's exciting."
Henty and Brock-Burrum have won three of their opening four matches despite having tough draws to start the season.
