Thurgoona Men's Shed members probably don't want to swing a cat, but they sure have room to do so now.

The group has been relishing the space available in its newly completed building, a $240,000 project supported by Albury Council.
Shed publicity officer Ian Crane said the former shed only measured about 200sq m.
"We had something like 100 members, everyone was sort of jammed in there," he said.
"Now, we've still got that shed, which we're going to turn into an amenities block, but the new shed is something like 500sq m, so it gives us a lot more room."

Thurgoona Men's Shed began after a well-attended public meeting in 2012 with about 20 participants originally, a number that soon grew.
"We expect to keep growing over the next few years so we had to do something to accommodate all the new members," Mr Crane said.
The shed took about two months to build and another couple of months to fit out, for example with ducted vacuum and extraction systems, machinery and work benches.
Members have been using their upgraded facilities for several weeks.
"The blokes are really enjoying it, more open space and everything new," Mr Crane said.
At the moment, the men are working on individual projects as well as items like squirrel glider boxes.
