The Hawks unleashed a devastating first-half to set-up the 41 to 17 victory.
Hawks coach Kath Evans labelled the victory as their most impressive this season.
"The girls are starting to get some good systems working and starting to play well as a team which is our focus," Evans said.
"It's all about team netball and that's what will get the wins at the end of the day.
"We got off to a flying start and probably dropped off a bit in that second-half.
"But I was really happy with the end result and that was probably our best team effort of the season so far."
Goal defence Caitlin Davis was the standout for the home side.
She narrowly shaded Lou Harrington who played wing defence for best on court honours.
Evans felt last year's runner-ups could once again challenge for the flag this season.
