The first double header of the season saw the Bandits fall to the Supercats by 20-points in Geelong.
Nat Hurst was the leading scoring contributor for the local side in the clash, with 12 points and five rebounds.
She was closely followed by Mel Kirby, who put nine points on the board.
The home team then hit the road to face the Diamond Valley Eagles, where they found victory 90-75 after a huge display in the second half.
It was a big game from import Cherise Daniel to come home strong in the later stages with 25 points.
Teammate Chloe Storer also performed well in the second game, posting one of her best displays on the court so far this season for the Bandits.
"She (Storer) came out and did everything we asked her to do and it just opened everyone else up," Bandits coach Lauren Jackson said.
"I was so happy with the way she played and what she showed out on the court.
"In the second half the girls really stepped up and started playing the basketball that we're pushing them to play.
"We went away from that a little bit against Geelong and they were just too talented.
"To split the road trip was great and I'm really happy with the girls positive attitude in the second game.
"The way they were able to bounce back was really good.
"They played great team basketball, and that's what we want."
Backing up to play two games in the one weekend didn't appear to phase the Bandits, who will now look to prepare for another double header in the next round of the NBL1 competition
"The second half of the game, when you'd think they'd be the most tired, they came out and played great basketball," Jackson said.
"That's a really positive sign that the girls are in shape and are able to back it up."
The weekend's results now take the side to five wins and two losses so far this season.
Launceston and Hobart will the Bandits next task down in Tasmania.
