The Falcons made their move in the second quarter and answered every challenge Tim Madden's line-up presented.
Millie Brown played well for the Bushrangers around the packs and Olivia Barber kicked the team's only goal.
Keeley Skepper, Cassidy Mailer and Mikaela Trethowan also battled gamely against the odds.
The Murray Bushrangers were unable to score after quarter-time as Geelong Falcons pair Paige Sheppard and Lucy McEvoy stamped their authority on the contest.
The line-up finished with a 3-5 win-loss record.
"There was a massive improvement from the start to the season to the finish which was pleasing," Madden said.
"We did a lot right along the way."
