These services are now available at the Gardens Medical Group's new Thurgoona rooms, which are based at CSU.
GP - Dr Lucinda Thomas
Dr Lucinda Thomas was raised in the Southern Highlands of NSW, and graduated from the University of Wollongong.
She trained in The Wollongong Hospital and the surrounding Illawarra over the following five years and completed her Diploma of Child Health while working in paediatrics.
As well as working in other areas, she also worked in women's and maternal health providing antenatal care in the hospital and in general practice.
Commencing her general practice training in the Illawarra, Lucinda moved with her family to Albury-Wodonga to join Gardens Medical Group in January 2017.
Sexual health clinic
The walk-in sexual health clinic is held on Monday afternoons (no appointments needed) by Dr Natasha Mclellan and offers:
- STI testing for screening or symptoms;
- LGBTIQ health including transgender health;
- HIV prescribing, PEP(post exposure prophylaxis) and PrEP(Pre exposure prophylaxis);
- Sexual dysfunction; and
- Bulk billing for any sexual health consultations and CSU students.
Dr McLellan also has general practice appointments available on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Skin clinic
The Skin Clinic is run by Dr Bai Xiao, who has worked at GMG since 2012. She is a fellow of Royal Australia College of General Practice.
Dr Xiao is an accredited skin cancer doctor by Skin Cancer College Australasia; she specialises in skin cancer check and management of melanoma, base cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, as well as unwanted benign lesions especially on face and neck. She also manages hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and alopecia (hair loss). The skin cancer checks are on Wednesdays at Thurgoona. Dr Xiao also offers GP appointments available on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Travel medicine
The Travel Medicine Clinic is run by Dr Peter Love.

The clinic provides full vaccination services on-site and it is also a Yellow Fever accredited vaccination centre.
