THE Ciaron Maher-trained South Boss Street has been allocated top-weight for the Jack Maher Classic at Wodonga on Saturday.
South Boss Street is one of four of the 39 nominations who have previously won.
The two-year-old won first-up from a spell at Mornington earlier this month in only his third career start.
Maher has also nominated Three Legs In, Soldierofthebrave, Titan I Am and Stardayz.
The Jack Maher Classic will once again coincide with the eighth annual Belvoir Special School Charity Luncheon at Wodonga Racecourse.
Sam Groth is the guest speaker.
His appearance follows presentations by Michelle Bridges, Lauren Jackson and football identities Robert DiPierdomenico and Sam Kekovich in recent years.
Past luncheons have raised money for additional play equipment and shade, therapy equipment and general resources such as computers, tablets and interactive smart boards.
