The Albury and District champions take on Temora Bowling and Recreation Club at Holbrook on Saturday.
"The last three times we've gone to zone, we've played them (Temora) twice and they've knocked us off both times," Broad said.
"Bruce Lack is always hard to beat, but Ricky Potter isn't in their side, which is a bit of an advantage for us because he's a Zone 8 skip.
"It will be a hard game, but playing in Holbrook should help us a bit."

Victory for North Albury will see it take on Young in the semi-finals on Sunday, while the winner of Tumut and Narrandera will meet Wagga RSL.
Lavington represents Albury and District in grade four and takes on Junee in the semi-finals at Wagga RSL on Sunday morning.
North Albury qualified for the zone playoffs in the remaining three grades.
The Hoppers' grade five side meets Junee at Cootamundra Country Club on Saturday.
The sixes also play on Saturday and face Tumut at Tumbarumba Bowling Club, while the sevens are through to Sunday's semi-finals at Leeton Soldiers Club and await the winner of Wagga RSL and Lake Cargelligo.
