This year's event, hosted by the Murray Heritage Motorists, will see 15 local car clubs show off their pride and joy at the "police paddocks".

Secretary Tilo Schmidt said the day is shared between the larger clubs across the Border and is "simply about getting the cars out and about".

"It really is a family day for people to come and check out the vintage cars on show," he said.

"The Albury-Wodonga and district motoring clubs combine for a large show including a drive through the town and gauge.

"The show has been going for a number of years now and the car clubs get their cars out for the public to enjoy.

"We will be happy with 100 cars and encourage everyone to come out and have a look at all the vintage cars on offer."

Mr Schmidt said they will have a "wide variety" of cars on show with all cars over 20 years old to be classed as heritage.

"There is a great cross section of cars that will be shown on Sunday," he said.

"Our club alone has 90 members and we don't have a certain brand so we have all sorts of cars that will come along.

"It is getting bigger and it will great to see the community of Beechworth and surrounds come along."

The event will kick off from 11.30am with a heritage drive through town happening at 2pm.

"People can line the streets and see all the cars drive past one by one," Mr Schmidt said.

Entry is by gold coin donation for local charities.
