Tyson John Crichton-Crawford won't be out of Odyssey House until July 8, Albury Local Court has heard.

Crichton-Crawford committed the offences on February 22, 2018, but did not plead guilty to the two domestic violence-related counts of stalk or intimidate and offensive behaviour until this week.

The 29-year-old was supposed to be sentenced back in August, 2018, but failed to turn up, resulting in him being convicted in his absence.

Magistrate Rodney Brender decided that Crichton-Crawford should now be sentenced, with the benefit of a sentencing assessment report, on July 10.

Crichton-Crawford was already on conditional bail in Victoria for domestic violence matters involving the same victim when he did it all again in Albury.

The court was told he had been in an on-off relationship with the victim, now aged 26, for about 12 months, though they had separated not long before the stalking incident.

The woman and a female friend, who was driving, were waiting for a green signal at the David and Guinea streets traffic lights about 9.20am when Crichton-Crawford pulled up beside them.

He got out of his car, via the passenger door, so the victim's friend flicked her central locking switch.

"The accused appeared completely outraged," police said.

The victims were scared by Crichton-Crawford's stiff body language, his finger pointing and how his eyes appeared "to be popping out".

"You're a copper rat, you're a copper informant," he yelled at his ex-partner.

"Dogs get what they deserve."

Crichton-Crawford stood in front of the victims' car to stop them driving off, then went to the passenger side, "pulled his penis out the top of his board shorts" and rubbed it against the window.
