While the open day will be a chance for people to view fire trucks and rescue equipment up close, Albury Civic Fire Brigade captain John Vandeven said it would also be a chance to educate about fire safety.
A smoke tent will be set up to simulate a house fire, with a sausage sizzle and other activities also planned.
"We have more fires in winter than at any other time," Mr Vandeven said.
"People are indoors more and using heaters, electric blankets, dryers and so forth.
"If people have any concerns, they can come and get some information."
The brigade on Kiewa Street and brigade on Kaitlers Road in Lavington, will be open from 10am to 2pm.
