The side is coming off the back of the Southern Inland Rugby Union competition's bye round and will have CSU in their sights on Saturday.
It comes after the Steamers staged their first win of the season against Griffith.
Despite being refreshed for the weekend's clash, Steamers coach Paul Musarra said his team would have liked to keep the momentum going after the win.
"We would have preferred to keep going, but training has been strong," Musarra said.
"We had a pretty tough last 20 minutes in the game against Griffith, but we stuck in there.
"It was really important to the boys and we can't really afford to lose any more games over the next couple of weeks."

The home side head into their next game with a handful of injuries, but will welcome Liam Krautz back into the team after spending some time away from the area.
The Steamers also await the return of David Cooper-Dunn in the coming weeks after being overseas, with the strong forward set to be a huge inclusion for the side.
Captain Tom Boyle also remains on the sideline this week after a head knock.
CSU will be hungry for a win when they travel to Albury for the round five clash on Saturday.
"We're looking forward to the challenge," Musarra said.
