Bosley lasted the first five minutes of the Bandits second game against Hobart on Saturday night before watching the rest of the clash from the sidelines.
The absence of Bosley left room for other Bandits to step up in his place.
"Losing Ken-Jah after the first five minutes hurt a bit," Bandits coach Brad Chalmers said.
"At this stage we're not sure how long it will be, but he'd certainly be looking at at least two to three weeks.
"Hopefully it's not a longer term thing."
The Hobart Huskies proved too strong in the clash defeating the border's team 102-92.
US import Torren Jones was the leading scorer for the Bandits, closing the game with 28 points, two assists and 17 rebounds.
Newest recruit Manny Malou also performed well.
But the loss capped off a less than successful away trip for the Bandits, who went down to North West Tasmania in the first game of the double header on Friday, 97-75.
Bosley was a solid contributor in that game, putting 19 points on the scoreboard, while Cirkook Riak was consistent across both games.
The two losses took the Bandits to one and three from back to back double header weekends on the road.
"Defence is an area we really need to improve on, it's our Achilles heel at the moment," Chalmers said.
"Both teams played zoned defence for the whole game, which is something that in all of my time coaching I haven't seen before, and they executed it pretty well.
"To get one and three in these games is always below what you want.
"It's about fine tuning what we're doing and trying to get a little bit better now, because we're just a bit off the pace at the moment.
"We'll lick our wounds and just keep trying to get better, that's what it's all about."
After round seven's results the Bandits sit on four wins and five losses this season.
With two huge weekends on the road now coming to an end, the Bandits will turn their attention to recovery as they prepare for a home game against the Kilsyth Cobras.
"We'll just have to protect our home court and grab some more wins on the road," Chalmers said.
"Talking and action will prove to be the difference now."
