Friday night's five point loss to North West Tasmania was dubbed a missed opportunity by Bandits coach Lauren Jackson, with the final result decided in overtime.
Cherise Daniel and Nat Hurst were the big guns on the scoreboard in the clash, with Hurst continuing to play out majority of the minutes for the Bandits.
They then backed up the away trip with a Saturday night game against the Hobart Huskies, where their luck turned around.
Emma Mahady had a solid night out with 21 points, four assists and five rebounds in the 82-69 point win.

"We could have got two wins in the bag, but we didn't," Jackson said.
"When we're playing good basketball we're definitely one of the better teams in the league, so there's a lot of positives to take out of that.
"We just have to be more consistent."
The Bandits now sit on six wins and three losses after the weekend.
