A man has died after an attempt to reverse out of a driveway went horribly wrong yesterday afternoon.

Around 3:30pm on Friday, a man believed to be aged 68, was driving out of a property on Henwood Avenue in Kooringal.
It is understood he accelerated too harshly and crashed into a brick retaining wall on the opposite side of the road.
NSW ambulance officers attended the scene, and attempted intubation.
He was delivered to Wagga Base Hospital where it is understood he died.
Officers from the Riverina Police District attended the address and established a crime scene.
An investigation will continue to determine the contributing circumstances in the crash.
The driver is yet to be formally identified and a full report will be prepared for the Coroner.
