Peter Challis had been due to face a four-day hearing at Wodonga Magistrates Court yesterday, to see if there was enough evidence to send him to trial over his alleged failing to disclose information about voting irregularities at the corporation.
An internet address used to cast 627 ballots resulted in the wrong person being elected to the board.
It's alleged Challis, 59, knew who the owner of the internet address was and failed to notify the board.
The hearing was adjourned and will now take place on November 11.
