A teenager ran at another girl then kneed her to the head at a wake in a Dean Street pub, leaving her with a broken jaw, a court has heard.

Jessie Hullick now faces sentence over the attack, which happened at the Public House nightspot on March 7.
The 18-year-old has pleaded guilty in Albury Local Court to a single charge of causing reckless grievous bodily harm.
Defence solicitor Mark Cronin told magistrate Rodney Brender on Tuesday that Hullick, who has made a previous appearance over the matter when it was adjourned, had pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity.
That will qualify her for a sentence reduction.
Mr Cronin said a sentence assessment report on Hullick would be suitable.

The court was told how the victim was aware of the fact that Hullick once dated her boyfriend.
The incident that led to Hullick's prosecution took place about 5pm.
Police said both Hullick and the victim were at Public House for a wake "for a friend".
"Words were exchanged between the two in the vicinity of the female toilets."
A short time later, the victim left the toilets but only because she knew that Hullick had already left.
The victim approached a female security guard and spoke to her about Hullick, as "she was scared (about) what the accused would do".
The victim then went outside the venue and sat on some steps.
Mr Brender heard how security approached Hullick and asked her to leave, directing her to speak to security outside.
"As the security guard was trying to escort the accused out, she has run out the front entrance of the venue," police said.
Hullick ran past the victim, who was still seated, "and kneed her with her left knee, connecting with the victim's face" before continuing down Dean Street.
The blow caused the victim to fall backwards, hitting her head on the ground. The victim suffered a broken and dislocated jaw, a cut lip and a bump on the back of her head.
"The victim has fears for her safety from the accused after this incident," police said.
Hullick took herself to Albury police station on March 11, when she was arrested and charged though she declined to be interviewed.
Mr Brender adjourned sentencing to July 11.
