Black Mirror was a team effort by the band's three brothers, Brennan, Bryce and Austin Mileto.
Lead vocalist Brennan said social media had an important role but over-reliance led to society becoming slaves to technology.
"It's about society's over-reliance on social media; it connects us but it also disconnects us," he said.
"I was reading an article about how vulnerable we are when we look into the 'black mirror'."
The single raced up the iTunes charts after its release in March.
Having formed in February 2010, Sisters Doll came to prominence in 2016 when they auditioned for Channel Nine's Australia's Got Talent.
Even before being crowned runners-up, Sisters Doll had toured with former KISS guitarist, Bruce Kulick, on his 2015 Australian tour - and again in 2017 - played Groovin' The Moo Festival in 2013, released an album (2012's Welcome To The Dollhouse) and supported Australian and international rock royalty. KISS' original drummer, Peter Criss, invited the band to share his stage in Melbourne and New York City in 2017.
Having grown up 200 kilometres south of Perth in the West Australian mining town of Collie, Brennan said their career choices were straightforward.
"You either worked in the mines, played footy or started a rock band!" he said.
Sisters Doll have a growing fan base, aptly known as the "Doll Army".
