A loose horse appears to have gifted Wodonga Turf Club a fire extinguisher, in one of the more bizarre instances of horse play in the racecourse's history.

Racing Wodonga General Manager Tom O'Connor said footage of the stallion, which appeared to be standing on its hind legs, was uncovered after staff located a fire extinguisher in the betting area.
"When things appear where they shouldn't be we normally tend to have a look at what's been going on from the camera," he said.
But they weren't quite prepared for what they found.

Mr O'Connor said footage showed a stallion - thought to actually be a human in a horse mask - loose at the racecourse.
He said it appeared the horse, or human, did not seems to have malicious intentions and might have been filming a skit.
Mr O'Connor said the club was always interested in loose horses, but thankfully it does not appear the horse in question had escaped from their stalls.
He said the fire extinguisher they found does not belong to the club, so if anyone, or any horse, was missing one they should be in touch.
