While the team has shown they have what it takes to perform well on the NBL1 competition stage, coach Lauren Jackson said her side needs to maintain that form.
"I think we have the potential to be a very good team in this league," Jackson said.
"We've shown glimpses of it, but we haven't bought it together night in night out.
"It's a bit of a journey, but that's what seasons are about."
With six wins and three losses this season, the Bandits will be scrambling to put another win on the board on Saturday.
"We could win this game and give ourselves a bit of a buffer, but if we don't, it's going to make it very difficult for us," Jackson said.
"Kilsyth will be an interesting match up because they're middle of the table as well.
"It will be a test to see where we are."
While the Bandits will look to their usual starters out on the court this weekend, young guns Chloe Storer and Casey Ardern are said to be developing nicely in the Bandits line-up.
"For this next generation of young players coming through, they're getting a good feel for what it takes to be relatively successful in this league.
"Every game we look to change things up depending on who we're playing," Jackson said.
The Bandits home game kicks-off at 6pm on Saturday.
