Sisters Alex, Maya and Eva Davis all feature in Melrose's starting 11 and each bring somethng different to the table.
Alex, the fiance of coach Adam Waters, lines up at centre back, Maya plies her trade in the midfield, while the baby of the family, Eva, can be seen flying up and down the wing.
Alex admitted the trio are just as close off the field.
"Wednesday night is team dinner night because there's the three of us and the coach (Waters)," Alex said.
"We fall in different age brackets in terms of representative teams, but we've always played at the same club.
"Dad (James) plays at (Albury) United, so there's a rivalry there.
"I think the best aspect we have is we're all mates off the field.
"We've had a core group we've grown up with and there's probably six or seven of us that have played together for seven or eight years.
"We don't speak to each other nastily because we're all friends off the field.
"It's funny when you're losing and the other team is the one yelling at each other."
More soccer news:
All three sisters debuted at senior level at 13 or younger, but only played together in the same side for the first time last year.
"We've all pretty much played since we were six," Maya said.
"Alex tried netball, I tried a bit of basketball and Eva played some tennis, but it's always been soccer.
"It's definitely a community club, everyone knows everyone.
"The environment is really good and it's good to see the juniors getting down to the ground and doing the barbecue.
"It's great seeing everyone getting around each other, there's a lot of club support."
Eva made quite the impact in her first senior campaign last year and speaks highly of her sisters - most of the time.
"They're alright I guess," she laughed.
"They're two people that I look up to a lot, it pains me to say it to them because they'll get a big head."
The trio is looking forward to Sunday's clash against St Pats at Alexandra Park - which has been moved to the marquee 3pm time slot as part of AWFA's Female Football Round.
"The promotion is good, but we don't have quite as many numbers coming up as when I was growing up," Alex added.
"It has dwindled off a bit, so it will be good to see if it creates a bit of interest."
