Wodonga hosted the Netball Victoria Association Championships North East Zone competition on Sunday with teams from across the region descending on Kelly Park.
The under-17 Ovens and Murray team had a good day out, making it through their nine games undefeated and qualifying for the finals set to be held in Melbourne next month.
They will join the open O and M side who are also bound for the finals on June 23.
The O and M defeated Albury Netball Association gold in the semi-finals by four goals before they went down by two to the Goulburn Valley league, who have also qualified for the next stage.
Ovens and Murray under-17's coach Georgie Bruce said the side just wasn't able to capitalize on their final game of the day.
"Most of the girls play A or B grade for the league, so they had one night to recover after a full game," Bruce said.
"They did a superb job to back it up."
In the under-15 competition, the Albury Netball Association met the GV league in the final, with the visitors proving too strong to win by nine goals.
While in the under-13's, it was a cross border battle in the final between the Albury Netball Association and Netball Wodonga Maroon.
Albury won the final game of the day, with just three goals separating them.
