The 41-year-old returned to Albury Local Court on Monday after having two additional charges laid against him by police.
It's alleged the Lavington man indecently assaulted an eight-year-old girl by touching her vagina while he was her swimming instructor on two separate occasions.
The incidents allegedly took place at GT Aquatics on Wagga Road some time between May 1 and September 1 in 2015.
He was charged with two counts of aggravated indecent assault after presenting himself to police on Thursday morning.
Detectives from the Albury-based child abuse unit have been investigating the allegations.
The charges allege the indecent assault was aggravated due to the alleged victim being under Duong's authority at the time.
The 41-year-old had been charged on November 8 last year with aggravated sexual assault against a female.
It's alleged he touched the girl's buttocks while she was under his authority in August last year.
Duong's matter was only heard briefly before Albury Local Court on Monday.
The court heard the matter had been referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
IN OTHER NEWS:
A three-week adjournment was sought.
The matter will return to court on June 17.
Duong remains on conditional bail and as a condition of that bail, the 41-year-old is banned from having contact with anyone under the age of 16.
Police did not have concerns about Duong being a flight risk.
Apprehended violence orders have also been sought for both girls.
