The skilled defender racked up 250 games for Jindera against Howlong on Saturday, with the Bulldogs going down by just two goals.
It marks a trend throughout the league this season, with close contests becoming a regular occurrence.
In round six alone there was three games decided by two goals or less in the A-grade competition.
"You have to prepare for a hard game every week," Holland said.
"Last year there was some shock wins towards the end of the season and I think that has continued into this season.
"Without playing everyone yet, you don't really know what to expect."
Holland has been taking to the court for Jindera for the past 16 years, with many memories made over that time.
While taking out the 2017 league best and fairest remains an honour, Holland said being a part of seven consecutive grand finals and winning five has been a major highlight in her playing career with Jindera.
"We had a bit of a dream team under Bree Kirk," Holland said.
"Playing in grand finals is the dream, so hopefully we can do it again.
"We've been pretty lucky because we have a lot of the same team as last year, with a few new additions."
Humble Holland is the first to praise her opponents in the goal circle, with the in-from Spiders no exception.
Howlong's close win against the Bulldogs during the weekend kept them on top of the competition ladder with no losses so far this season.
"They're a really good team," Holland said.
"I'm hopeful that if we have another shot, or had a few more minutes, we could have come through with the goods."
Jindera have been accumulating their own success as well this season, with four wins under their belt.
With what looks to be an exciting season ahead in the Hume league, Holland said she hopes to still have plenty more games left in her after reaching the milestone.
"It's really lovely to be a part of Jindera," Holland said.
"It's nice catching up with everyone every winter as the season kicks-off.
"I love playing netball, so as long as I keep getting selected, I'll keep playing."
