Both sides were under-manned with the Tigers elevating Ellie Owens and Riley Butters from the under-15's for their A-grade debuts.

Tigers coach Jo Withers said both girls weren't overawed in the 46-31 win.

"We had two under-15 girls step-up today," Withers said.

"Both sides were missing key players with injuries.

"Ellie shot at around 80 per cent and absolutely smashed it for a 15-year-old.

"Riley also played her role when she came on and provided some fresh legs in the centre of the court.

"It's really exciting from a club point of view for these juniors to be coming into the side and helping us get the win today."

Withers said it was important to rebound quickly after losing to Dederang-Mt Beauty by one goal last weekend.

"It was fantastic to get the win," she said.

"We have been working hard as a group and it good to get some reward for effort."

The Tigers got on the front foot from the start and increased their lead at every break.

"We were in front for most of the day," she said.

"It was nice to get off to a good start finally."

Defender Tina Way produced another best-on-court display.

"Tina was awesome," she said.

"Her strength and backing up in defence - not too much got past her today."
